Who Am I?

Hey I’m Neri, a game developer that’s been determined to enter the games & interactive media industry since the 8th grade. Since then I’ve gone from President of the Game and Simulation club in Highschool to graduating with a M.S. in Interactive Entertainment from FIEA at UCF and finally working in the AAA space for half a decade.

While preparing to enter the industry I’ve had the privilege to lead several teams and work on all kinds of projects ranging from traditional entertainment-focused action games to naval navigation training simulators to scientific education VR experiences.

In industry I've been taken on the diverse set of responsibilities associated with being a Technical Designer and applied them to things like game mode infrastructure and design, sports presentation systems, UI prototyping and skinned screen hookup, core action gameplay, and NPCs behavior. Along the way I've worked across three major game engines (Unity, Unreal, and Frostbite) and tons of other tools and software.

I always want to help drive any community I'm a part of forward and as a game developer my hope is to help to shape the industry into a healthier form founded on strong production practices, broader subject horizons, and a smart business analysis so we don't have to choose between making great art and living sustainably.

One of my true passions is to help unite the Orlando games & interactive media community and encourage it grow into the space it truly can be. As part of that mission I created OGID: an online database and associated community discord for Orlando games & interactive developers of all kinds.
